The future is fuckin terrifying, the idea of the unknown is something that haunts the thoughts of countless who meditate on the subject, myself included. But in the infinite number of paths and doors both our own and the other conscious vessels there’s a horror show of beauty, pain and knowledge waiting to be acquired.
No mystic we seek in the world can come to a conclusion, even with a glimpse through the eye hole, just suggest the best wisdom they have available. I love it. The future is a never ending learning process and it’s forever changing. Even when you feel you’ve come to know it, other factors are introduced and your spiral back to the terror that is square one. All the knowledge you’ve gained from the past seems to evolve with every second your mind processes more information, so in a sense the future is humbling cause it reminds us about how little we actually know and how far we are willing to push ourselves to continue.
My future so far is nothing I thought it would be and I’m nowhere I thought I would. But the places I’ve been and experiences I’ve had have all been fucking amazing. But the steps i’m taking now have me pacing like a maniac thinking of where I’ll be headed next…
Meditate on whats happened, whats coming and what to do to get there. Don’t dwell on past mistakes, embrace the ones coming. Fuck the mystics that tell you your path is set and who you are, you are who you make yourself.
It all started years back when I meet a really good friend who till this day is one of my best friends even though we dont see each other as much. About 11 years ago I meet Klown, back then we were just a couple guys trying to make it in the Tattoo game. We would see each other in shows here and there then I was presented with a huge opportunity to travel outside my comfort zone. Thats when all this traveling started for me, one day I asked Klown if he wanted to travel with me and he said yes…this started and strengthen our friendship we had some good times with the rest of our boys, we taught each other support, respect but most important loyalty which till this day we still have for each other. Years later History would repeat it self only this time Klown would share all this with another good friend of the family, Pablo Aponte. They travel together just like me and him did and Im sure they shared some similar moments. Klown has never changed even though he has gain great admiration from the Tattoo industry he remains a humble individual and strives to get better and not only for him but also to teach others like Pablo. Klown has spent alot of time with Pablo sharing everything he knows he does not hold nothing back and you can really see it in Pablos work, he is a true student and a recipient of years of experience from a humble teacher who Im very proud to be friends with.
Im very exited to have have Pablo as an artist at Lowrider tattoo He is very eager to learn and Im sure he will bring a lot inspiration to all of us. Pablo really takes pride in his work , Im sure you all will agree with me. Here is some of his work it is truly amazing.
Berninis St. Longinus, Christian legend has it that Longinus was a blind Roman centurion who thrust the spear into Christ’s side at the crucifixion. Some of Jesus’s blood fell upon his eyes and he was healed. Upon this miracle Longinus believed in Jesus.
This specific study is a very difficult piece to pull off but Pablo has done a great job of showing his skills.
The famous rose that has given Klown so much fame and here it shows how he has passed it on to Pablo.
What ever style it might be he has so many different ways of capturing a true artistic essence and giving each piece of art his own twist.
I am proud to announce he will be coming with us to Rome to contribute to the already famous tattoo Convention and to work side by side with the rest of us.

For the the last 6 years I’ve had the pleasure to work with my good friend Klown I watched him grow as an artist step by step it almost seems like yesterday that I meet him and I still have the same love and respect I did at the start the only thing that has change its his amazing skills he has developed through hard work and dedication. Its hard to stand out these days, there are so many artist out ther working hard but Klown has manage to come out on top and dayammmm he makes it look so easy. His good attitude towards life and his charisma only adds to his attributes.
I can honestly say that Im very fortunate to have this amazing guys as my friends, they really inspire me and make me very proud.
A long time ago a lil kid came to my shop asking for direction and a chance to sit down and talk to me about tattoos…. He asked a lot of questions and I answer them to the best of my knowledge…This went on for a while and time after time he would come back to talk some more until I ask him if he really wanted to learn a lil more he could come with me and really jump in the water and get his feet wet, I assure him it would not be easy but he welcomed the challenge and he started working with me, going to all the places I was going to. I remember him always standing right next to me always watching me, with almost no expression on his face just intaking all the information in front of him.
This kid was like no other he did not have a care for anything but learning how to tattoo, it was almost weird that he did take interest in other things other guys were doing and he would never leave my side. I remember a time when we went to one of the first tattoo Conventions out of state and it just happened to be his birthday,lol. I though it be a good idea to get him drunk but actually it was a bad one… We found that out the next day, not only him but all of us had to worst headache ever. My pocket was full of money cause we were gambling and drinking patron and aparently I won all the money that night. I didn’t remember anything. The worst part is that we still had to tattoo that weekend and that didn’t stop us we were there to tattoo and thats what we did. Now that I look back and remember so many moments its seems like it was yesterday. Only that lil kid has grown to become a man, a man that I’m very proud of, His name in Jun Cha. His is on his way to make his own mark in the tattoo world and he still come around all the time to check on us and help out at the studio. Nothing has change he is and will alway be family. I’m writing this because another kid has stepped in to the shop just like Jun did 6 years ago with the same determination. So I could not stand there and do nothing, I welcomed him into the shop just like jun for I saw the same potential and the same drive. It is funny how life and history repeats it self.
He goes by the name of Noah a young artist from Santa Rosa CA, He left everything behind just to pursue his passion for tattoos. And just like Jun he went ahead and enlisted him self in the Art Center Of Pasadena. I really think there’s a lot of very good things that are going to come out of this kid for I have seen it in another, Jun.
With only a few years of Tattooing he is already a master of Hand Script and many other types of tattooing.
With the skills he will be learning in school and at the shop I’m sure he will become a great tattooist.
I really hope that he takes advantage of everything in front of him just like Jun did. Now I’m going to have two guys around me looking over my shoulder,lol.
Thats has never been a problem with me they are my kids, and most importantly they are my friends.
With this new year comes Noah he will be a great asset to Lowrider Tattoo and a great complement to All the other tattooist at the shop like Johnny Opina, Miguel, Gustavo and another great artists sam and lil b.
I’m Proud of all of them And would like to wish them all the best in everything they do.
Lowrider Tattoo started with a dream with one man sitting in a wheelchair wondering what would become of him… He never imagine what would unfold in the coming years. Just when it seemed like it was over, a bright light shined down on him and showed him the path that he is now following, Tattooing.
